Saad M. Hussein is a distinguished professional in the field of Animal Production, specializing in Ruminant Nutrition. Holding a PhD in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University in the USA, he currently serves as a Lecturer and Head of the Scientific Division in the College of Agriculture, Department of Animal Production at the University of Kirkuk, Iraq. Throughout his career, Hussein has combined animal practice with research, excelling in the study of the Precision Feeding System in Dairy Heifer Diets, an innovative system aimed at improving and decreasing dry matter intake by including different levels of fat in the diets within various forage-to-concentrate ratios.
Saad M. Hussein's fields of interest include understanding the relationships between forage to concentrate ratios (F:C) when nutrients are provided precisely to meet the requirements of dairy ruminant animals. He is particularly focused on the study of by-products to replace conventional ingredients based on the production system and geographical location. Additionally, his interests in screening unsaturated fat sources included in diets with different dietary fat concentrations using in vitro and in vivo methods.
